I’m due for a haircut; I’ve been due for one since, I don’t know, 1993. Okay, so maybe just late last year, but it feels like forever. My last haircut was April 2007 and the reason I’ve left my hair as is is because I want Norah Jones-esque curls. Except my mom said curls won’t suit my fat face and quite honestly, I think I agree. That, and my dry ends make brushing my hair a pain. So it’s time for a haircut.
Or maybe waves, not curls? Gaaah, I really want non-straight hair:

Egh. I’m bound to do something useless and just have the stylist at Fix do the usual: chop off two to three inches and add more layers. A stubborn and most lilkely to be wrong part of me wants bangs. Again. Even though the last time I grew them out and once again had normal layered hair, a gay friend looked at me and noticed FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE MONTHS I’VE KNOWN HIM that I wasn’t “hideous” (that was the exact word he used).
Anyhoots. Bangs or no bangs?:

I know, I know. I have no non-retarded photos of me with bangs. Or without bangs. I am apparently incapable of just looking at the camera and not smiling or grinning like an idiot.
I’d like to go for a bob or super short hair, but I haven’t had short hair since forever:

HELP.
That’s all. Nothing exciting happening. My unemployed ass revolves around books, DVDs, a non-existent diet, and Sims 2. A conversation with the lover that took place the other night:
Helga: You know, our sims have sex everyday.
Lover: Nagpaparinig ka? (Trans: what are you trying to say?)
Helga: I should be able to just click on you: cuddle, kiss, make out, woohoo.
Lover: Oh my god.

Hi, I'm Helga Weber and welcome to my personal site. I'm 25 and in the process of learning how to make adventurous life choices. I dislike old people but I love grandma clothes. My goal in life is to build a ball pit right next to my bed. Currently searching for the perfect house coat. My lover is the greatest.
A pixie cut. Daring. Think Sharon Stone or Madonna when they had very short boy cuts.
Please, no bangs. They make you look older than you are. Generic. But I can see a pixie cut with bangs, yes.

My face is too fat for a pixie cut. And wait til I dig up photos of me as a highschool freshman with boy hair. HIDEOUS.
Wah :(

Meh, I think your current hair suits you. Makes you look 16, srsly.
If you have really thick hair, you can’t go for curls or blunt cuts. Layering is your best bet.
But, I liked your hair in your old blog template. The one where you’re sitting by the window bra-less and yosi at hand. You were wearing violet then, if I remember correctly.

2nd picture! I love that hair. Lady-ish.

We have the same hair length! And I don’t know what to do with it either. Sayang eh, if I cut it off. Haven’t cut mine since April din.

I used to have the same hair length, until I decided to chop it off shoulder length and it did pretty good wonders to my life, and my haircare expenses lol. I’m on my way to that kinda length again though.
Wanna do something daring? Do the “Katie Holmes” cut. The legend of the BOB.

I also want non-straight hair. Nora Jones-ish curls you say? I want that too! But the baklas over at the salon would have none of it. =( They want me to grow my relaxed hair (had my hair relaxed like a year ago) out first. Which means having ugly hair for the next 48 years for me. T_T
Try the bob helga =)

oh no, don’t get a bob. it usually works only for people with round faces—it gives them the illusion of a more angular jaw. your face, however, has good structure already. getting a bob would highlight your jaw too much that it might look mannish, like that model-talk show host in QTV. but still, who knows right?
i suggest bangs and layers. or waves, but yes, no curls. ^^

I can’t imagine a hair cut that would look bad on you!!
I think you’re prettiest whenever you tie up your hair cuz it highlights your small charming face and amazing cheekbones!
so I guess any haircut that doesn’t hide your face shape would be great
p.s never realized how adorable your cleft chin is til I saw this post

Agree. I like it when Helga’s hair is tied in a ponytail. Totally queen bee-slash-urban primadonna-slash-fabulous career girl.

LMAO!!! I love your animation. Your hair is LOOONG! Gosh! Lol, I just bought a hair Straightener yesterday. I hate my wavy hair. I guess people always want what they don’t have ;)
Maybe cut your hair until your first layer – then with layers. No bangs. I hate my bangs. I normally never have them, but sometimes I feel like them, then I get bangs and I hate them because my hair annoys me when it hangs into my eyes!! CLIPS ftw!!! :P

Waa! Love your blog by the way! Very colourful! (Ahem, a first-timer :D)
But hair suggestions! I’m so envious of your long locks! I never have enough patience to let my hair grow out! So I suggest – maybe a super layered trim! That way you can play with having shortish hair (by clipping it under) and long hair ~ by leaving it out! And still have enough hair for a skinny pony-tail too!
Every now and again, you can curl the bottom layers ~ Your face isn’t fat! But curls permanently can be tiring (and a pain in the asssssss) for upkeep ~ n_nV
I think the bangs would be cute though! Just not too long! Otherwise serious vision impairment will be iminent after about 2 weeks XD
Anyhow, er, that’s my super long comment with pictures! But I seriously reccomend http://www.rasysa.com/ if you’re planning to get a haircut for inspiration! Go check it out! *grin*

Now I’m thinking “Rihanna hair”. Gosh, I didn’t know I had such concern for Helga’s hair!!!

Wow your hair is so long and thick and pretty! :D

Do a bob like Katie Holmes’ new hair.
And you are gorgeous now and were a gorgeous baby!

i think you should keep your hair the way it is. hey anna wintour had that same haircut forever. it works for you. it’s sexy. i would die for that hair. my hair is in an awkward length right now since i’ve always had pixie cut but i’m growing it out. my hair is naturally wavy and i have to spend time ironing it with my chi.
haha i wish i could click on my boy too. it’s like it’s never enough =)

I didnt know what to do with my hair either, i wanted to color it but i dyed it black last year and stylist said coloring wont work, so i just got a haircut. Its as short as lauren’s, i think.

Whatever you do, don’t shave your head. That’s all I’ve got.

Oh wow, thanks Pau, now i cant get it out of my head too.

Woo I love Sims 2!
Anyway, your hair looks fine! I think bangs make a person look younger so if that’s what you want, then get bangs. Or maybe layer it a little more to get more dimension. Whatever you do, it’ll look good!
[Reply]
i’m due for a haircut too, I think you should get lots of layers, 3 inches off, and big side swept bands
[Reply]
I say you do some shorter layers on the top and longer layers on the bottom with semi long side bangs that way if you do get tired of them you can just re part your hair and it will go in with your hair cut. =D Love your animation btw!
[Reply]
I think you should get your hair cut to a little past your shoulders (layered) and put caramel highlights in it. It’d look really nice on you. :)
