1) Anne’s cooking!

Every once and a while, our very domesticated friend offers to cook for us (sometimes, she offers to clean our houses, too). She had her apartment all to herself last night so a few of us came over for chili-cheese sticks of doom, chips, beer, and a cheesy horror movie.

It looks like salsa, yeah? That’s actually the chili that I had to pick out because the cheese sticks were too spicy! I made a mess.
2) My lovely aubergine loafers.

I’ve been jonesing for a pair of loafers for the longest time and I finally bought a pair. I imagine wearing them with white lace tights, heh. The one thing I kinda don’t like about this pair: they have half-inch kitten heels. A bit hard to walk in.
(Yes, I have veiny feet and veiny hands!)
3) Bubble tea!

I can never have enough of bubble tea! <3
4) The Acer Aspire.

In pink and white! Looks like candy.

5) My morning skin stuff.

Left: no makeup. Right: with a bunch of skin goo, sans makeup.

If you think I’m ugly without makeup, you’re not the one who has to wake up next to me for the rest of your life, k.
6) This day:

Got to talking about Hanson on Tumblr so I went to look for this photo. November 30, 2004, Aliw Theater backstage. Taylor’s hand on my shoulder! <3
7) Taking a bazillion photos of myself for no reason at all, yey.

Here, kitty kitty.

Too fast.

My hair’s brown again and is obviously (:P) itching for some blonde highlights.
For the first half of this year, I’ve decided to grow my hair and keep my bangs. This isn’t as easy as it sounds as I have the tendency to ask for more inches off whenever I find myself on a salon chair. I guess I’ll have to learn how to say “Pa-trim ng bangs lang” and then restrain myself from saying anything else.
This is my ~*~dream hair~*~:

Emily from Skins! I don’t watch the show (I hear she’s a lesbian and she has a twin sister?) but I saw this photo on Tumblr a couple of weeks ago and fell in la-la-love with her hair. That’s such a nummy shade of red! I don’t think it will match my skin tone, though.
In other news, the lover is sending me a care love package! It ships out Friday PST and will travel the seas for seven days hrhrhr. I am so excited! In the package are: a lens for Baby Girl, Crest Whitestrips (we actually fought about this. My fault), a tube of Mac lipglass, a brochure for IT Jobs (loljk), jeggings (in XS/S, what the heck. I have 1.5 weeks to lose weight), and a bunch of other surprises. Kee, I can’t wait!

This morning, I woke up and knew things were not going to be different. Routine routine: get out of bed, move laptop from bedroom floor to my little table outside my door, grab my towel, pad to the kitchen to boil water for my coffee (how could I have forgotten: I need a new coffee maker!), and jump in the shower. Make coffee, go back upstairs, brush my bangs, check to see if the lover is online, then light my first cigarette of the day. The time should be 930am. Usually, it’s 10am. It’s like this everyday. It’s nice.
My neighborhood is ugly but I love it. My bedroom window doesn’t have a view except for walls walls rundown walls with the paint peeling off but sometimes when I am lucky, I can see the moon from where I lie before going to sleep.
When I wake up and stand next to my window and look up, this is what my camera sees:

This is what you look like through my eyes:

Oh, Tindalo Street. The dull colors with the occasional pops of gaudy yellow (Angel’s Hamburger, what’s up) and rusted ornaments never bothered me. The jeepneys that pass, speed, and roar through (quite rudely!) this largely residential area are something I have learned to live with. I am no longer wary when I walk home at night. The lady who does my nails and her co-workers recognize me. I used to get cat calls when I first moved here over year ago; often from someone on their home’s second floor. The lover would tell me: “I’ve got to get you out of there!” and “hemorrhoid cream!” But they have stopped and I am glad; I am one of them now. But cuter.
(I still miss Katipunan, though.)
I have a lot of photos of myself, on my bed, this morning. When there’s nothing interesting outside your windows…

Hello.

I was looking for something about night creams in my Tumblr archives and came across this. I should’ve posted this here a long time ago. Originally from here.

Charcoal soap!

I passed by Saizen (Japanese store where everything is 85 pesos) for the first time last night during my lunch break and bought this. According to The Internets!, these are the benefits of using charcoal soap:
Charcoal soap is believed as it can provide more moisture to the skin as it absorbs purities that sometimes can make the skin speckled. Speckled skin will make the overall performance ugly so that people try many ways to eliminates and avoid it. This soap removes all dead cells over your body and retains newer cells. Moreover, charcoal soap is also good in order to make the skin lighter. When you think that you want to have a lighter skin, this soap can be a safe way to help you promoting lighter skin. Furthermore, you will also have refreshed skin everyday. As a conclusion, this charcoal soap will be able to give you healthy, more moisture and lighter skin.
I just want and am desperate to get rid of my pimples and my regular face wash for acne doesn’t seem to work anymore.
Morning stuff on my table.

I bought the ashtray from Saizen, too; that striped thing on the edges is a kitty!
Today’s outfit. I am finally wearing my pair of jeans from the Levi’s Modern Vintage collection outside the house. Sorry for the cat; I look sleepy and just plain ugly in the photo.
