As expected, a ton of people showed up for Meiday’s 2nd year anniversary. You’d think by now, I’d be used to Cubao X brimming with people but I still found myself going “OMG TOO MANY PEOPLE!” several times Saturday night. I wasn’t complaining about the crowd, though, rather the heat generated by hundreds of bodies.

Anyway, I suck for not getting there early enough for Ang Bandang Shirley. A bunch of Tumblr people were there and I kept to Mogwai and Futurecafe, only going near the stage/crowd during Taken By Cars’s set. I had fun, Penny got drunk (hrhrhrhrhr), and I should have taken more photos of the people I knew. I used my 50mm lens that night and I found myself wishing I brought my kit lens instead.
