Guess who’s a happy kitty cat!
A little over a week ago, the boyfriend lovingly put together a bunch of stuff to send to me. This is the third package he’s sent and thankfully I didn’t have to wait months for it, which is what happens when you ship stuff via Balikbayan boxes. I got the stuff last Saturday, hurray!

Had a tough time opening the box because he had taped it closed several times. He kept forgetting stuff.
Tampons plus surprises (LOL) for a friend. The tampons were everywhere as he sent them without the box. Most of them were stuffed inside my shoes. Made me giggle. He forgot to send me the best eye cream in the world, though.
Bath & Body had a sale a couple of weeks ago and I asked him to get me a few bottles (from $10.50 to $4 each!). I wanted Sheer Freesia but they were out so I went with my current scent. It’s so clean and powdery <3

gamit nya flatrate box ng USPS? safe pala? anong size ng box gamit nya? hope u dont mind helgs. i’ve been wanting to send package sa pinas gamit ang flatrate box ng USPS but i am skeptical kasi kesyo nawawala daw or hino-hold sa custom.
you got great great stuff from ur bf. i love sheer freesia too the smell so light na hindi masakit sa ulo.

No, the flatrate USPS box was just the easiest to pack, but it was sent through Johnny Air.

I just checked the website, it’s not available in Chicago and hubby said expensive din daw just like FedEx.

There’s a decent sized box that lets you send 10lbs for $40. Fedex charges about $120 for the same size package and goes through customs, while JAC doesn’t.
You can send the package to a JAC location and they can ship it out from there, that’s what lolen did.

Sweeeeet!!! I used to/still do get tampons from my boyfriends too! It’s the only thing I ask for! :) What a thoughtful guy you have, Helga :)
Btw, there’s a place in LA where you the balikbayan box only cost $40 unlimited weight, but will take about 3 weeks to get here.. Who cares right?? 3 weeks is nothing!
