Television Stuff

I need to stop saying “I’m not big on TV” or “I don’t really watch TV” because I do, in fact, watch a whole lot of TV.

Shows I watch that I’m totally into:

  • CSI
  • CSI: Miami
  • CSI: New York

Shows I need to catch up on:

  • CSI
  • CSI: Miami (my season 7 DVD is missing a few eps)
  • CSI: New York
  • Glee (stopped watching an episode or two before they took that break)
  • Gossip Girl (I think I have eight more eps to go)
  • How I Met Your Mother (season 5)
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • SNL
  • The Hills
  • The Vampire Diaries

Shows I plan to get into:

  • Community
  • The United States of Tara

Anyone have recommendations?

Shows I would like to get into but am too overwhelmed to get into lulz:

  • One Tree Hill
  • Grey’s Anatomy
  • Lost (finally ended!)

Shows I am too scared to get into:

  • True Blood

My personal favorites are House MD, Entourage, and Sex And The City, which HBO has been showing reruns of for a few months now. I love Big Bang Theory and Glee, too.

Parks and Recreation – if you like SNL, you’ll like this one, too. A lot of cameos from SNL folks. It starts a bit slow, but it gets better in the next 3 EPs or so.

The Office – same format as P&P.

Oh, and Arrested Development. You’re not missing a lot with True Blood. I find it kind of average.

Hi! New reader here. I love the CSI shows too, although right now New York is my fave. If you’re into procedurals though I would suggest Criminal Minds and Cold Case.

YOU HAVE TO WATCH GREY’S ANATOMY!!! The show goes wonky in some of the middle seasons but it picks up. Lost too!

Modern Family – This show makes me LMFAO with every episode.
    Cougar Town!

You have to try True Blood! It’s really nice. And Cougar town. :)

True Blood is not that scary. It gets a bit irritating though. Grey’s Anatomy please! Flash Forward and House?

I also like Cougar Town, United States of Tara, The Secret Life of an American Teenager, and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

I kind of miss Gossip Girl. (shhhhh its a seekrit) I saw about ten minutes of the end of one new episode in the dining facility about a month ago, they actually show it on one of the AFN (Armed Forces Network) channels. I was like O_O when I saw that Georgina was back (again)!

I bought a bootleg boxset (cheap) of the first three seasons of The Tudors at the bazaar about a week and a half ago because I had heard many good things about the show, haven’t started watching it yet though.

I agree with Jean, True Blood can be a tad bit irritating. Especially the part where Sookie (Anna Paquin) is on the screen. I hate her, or I dislike her na lang.

My love for Lost is purely sentimental. House! :)

Try watching DEXTER, too. He’s the lovable serial killer. =D

You can read up on it here:

    Other I recommend:

    • The Office (UK original) — You will love and hate Ricky Gervais here. The U.S. version is just not the same.

    • Extras — another Ricky Gervais’ creation

      +1 for Dexter. :D
