Hey, guys! Let’s play a game of “What is Helga holding?”!

Let’s disregard the fact that the blog entry title is a dead giveaway and that this game is pretty lame, heh. Am I holding…
a) a cup of jello!
b) a cup of jello with white stuff!
c) a cup of Nestle Fruit Selection Yogurt + Jelly, as it says in the title -_- (!)
Probably the most genius thing Nestle has ever come up with!

Just a quick update before the weekend =)
Apol gave me a copy of his book (which came out a little over a year ago, heh), Ang Alamat ng Panget & Many Other!

It’s really funny as evidenced by this photo:

Heh.
I have a pretty busy weekend but I’ve got tonight free and I’m thinking of spending it on some DIY projects I’ve been putting off for the past few months. If I don’t get lazy and run to the mall for supplies before closing, the internets will know the stuff I made by Monday!
So exciting.

I first heard of Human Heart Nature from Mara‘s tweets some time ago but I didn’t think much of them because I still had a bunch of stuff I didn’t want to waste. If it weren’t for J‘s recent blog entries about going organic and this video, I wouldn’t have made the immediate switch. I brought it up with my boyfriend (out of habit, I run my expenses by him lol) and it turns out that he uses H♥N shampoo! It’s a dollar more than US shampoos and he said it’s worth the extra cost.
I placed my order Tuesday afternoon and they wowed me with their efficiency because I got my stuff less than 24 hours later!

From left to right: Sunflower beauty oil, Tomato & Lemongrass toner, Mandarin & Mango butter conditioner, Aloe Vera, Egg White, & Guava shampoo, Aloe Vera & Guava facial cleanser. A little less than PHP600, shipping included.

I spent my Saturday in Manila with friends, particularly at Roxas Boulevard/the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex for Carlos Celdran’s Living La Vida Imelda! tour.
From his website:
It’s a tour all about the Philippines in the 1970’s and the tumultuous era of Martial Law, bell-bottom jeans, and Miss Universe. Its a little bit disco, a little bit New Society, and completely Imeldific. So come take a trippy trip through National Artist for Architecture Leandro Locsin’s finest buildings as we analyze one of the most controversial periods in Philippine history as seen through the life and ambitions of the lady who defined it, Imelda Romualdez Marcos.
Itinerary:
The Cultural Center of the Philippines
The Philippine International Convention Center
CCP Complex Grounds
Here is a bad-quality photo of Carlos, taken inside the PICC. We weren’t allowed to bring our cameras inside CCP which really sucked.
