outfits, shopping, the weekend

The Weekend in Photos: All Me

Not a lot of photos because I’m honestly too tired to go through everything I took over the weekend. I had an incident this morning which sapped me off almost all my energy— I caught a construction worker on the roof of the building behind my apartment peeping in on me through my second floor window. Long story short: the baranggay captain and the building owner asked I not file charges or a formal complaint against the guy.

It’s funny because I’m 25 years old and I still turn to my folks (especially my mom since she’s the one with the mouth lol) when things like this happen. I should be able to handle these things on my own.

Anyway, the weekend in a nutshell: Saturday— SM shopping with Jewel and Tin, and then Rabi’s rockstar-themed bachelorette party at Malayan Plaza; Sunday— quick trip to Greenhills and then hung out at Tin’s with a couple of our friends.

Shopping outfit. Thrifted ruffled top, thrifted khakis that need ironing (lol lyk who dus dat), thrifted Cath Kidston bag, Janylin wedges.

SM haul. Tampons (hurrah!), some masks, hair ties, three dresses, and a cute bow belt. Not pictured: a few random beauty creams, a traveling bag, and condoms for the party that night.

The pink and black dress I’m wearing for my Halloween costume! I found it at the Teens’ Department. I opted for an XL even though it’s a little loose around the waist because the Large was tight around the bust and was too short. I think my boyfriend will be happy about this.

With Tin and Jewel and a stupid face.

With Rabi, the bride-to-be! I’m wearing a thrifted sheer black top, thrifted animal print skirt, and kitty accessories from the boyfriend (aka my Halloween costume for last year that he forgot to send haha. I finally got them!). Rabi and Roel are getting married on the 16th and I, unfortunately, will be in Cebu then. They better Ustream that shindig.

Lazy Sunday outfit: Coco Cabana maxi dress and Parisian wedges. I ALMOST NEVER CHANGE BAGS, OKAY. I AM A LAZY GIRL.

And did you know that that’s my first maxi dress?! I never cared much for them because I always thought I’d look terrible in one due to my (lack of) height (I’m a dinky 5’2″). Was I ever so wrong! I think I looked pretty cute and I loved it so much that I went to buy my second maxi today (in an effort to make myself forget this morning’s crapfest and because I plan to save on space by packing mostly dresses for my trip).

It’s ridiculous how much money I spent over the weekend and I hate that my spending won’t stop ’til after Halloween. I hope I don’t have to resort to eating instant noodles and stealing bananas from the banana cart a few meters down the street from my apartment a few weeks from now.

OMG $(*&@*$& sa mambobosong iyon! I HATE PERVS! Sana pinapahuli sa mga pulis ang mga iyan. Parang laging first time nakakakita ng babae. I hope you’re okay. I was traumatized when this guy stalked me in a mall. That’s another story but, hey! I love your dresses! I am a fan of dresses myself but I don’t use them because they’re too cute.

    You’re 5’2″? I find this surprising since you look like you’re a 5’5″ or something. :)

You’ll love Cebu :3 There are lots of gorgeous people there. And more rich people there. it’s kind of unfair hehe
