I cannot get enough of pretty rings! I can’t believe I waited 25 years to finally feel comfortable enough to deck out my fingers (which are short, stubby, and very un-ladylike) with them.
Yesterday, I went with my mom to buy accessories for my tita who’s flying in from the US. Of course, my mom and I had to get a bunch of stuff for ourselves, too.
Today, I asked my boyfriend if he believes in the saying “There are no ugly girls, just lazy ones.” His reply? “LOL, not really.” As mean as it sounds, I agree.
I asked him that question because I realized this morning that I haven’t been taking care of myself lately. I haven’t been working out, haven’t been watching what I eat, haven’t been putting on face masks, haven’t been bleaching my eyebrows (to think that I just have to find time every two weeks for this), haven’t been getting weekly pedicures, haven’t been deep-conditioning my hair, and I’ve been shaving instead of waxing. It’s been a while since I last read up on best acne treatments so now I have some very painful pimples around my face.
I feel jiggly and ugly! Why is it so hard being a girl? I hope I get out of this funk soon.
(Other things on my wishlist: vintage prom dresses, Face Hunter’s book, and a Jacob Black cardboard cut-out.)
I just saw photos from the TOMS 2010 Holiday Collection and oh my lord, I am seriously in love with some of them! I’ve been meaning to get a pair of Hanson’s TOMS shoes; unfortunately, they don’t have it in my size (I’m a US 6.5). They seriously need to restock!
I think TOMS would make perfect Christmas gifts because for every pair you purchase, a second pair is given to a child in need. You can read about the One for One Movement here.

Weekends like the one coming up makes me wish I lived in the US just so I could take advantage of all the Black Friday deals! I especially need a new laptop, seeing that my beloved Veronica Mars (my Sony Vaio… and yes, I name my things, heh) is over four-years old.
Other Black Friday deals I would love to take advantage of: this Braun epilator, a Sunpak FlexPod Pro Plus Tripod, and this West Bend popcorn popper!
…and wouldn’t shut up about it.
I’m pretty sure you’re all sick of hearing me yap about my hair but I swear, this will be the last… at least for now. Updating to let everyone who cares to know that I’ve gotten rid of the ugly orange blonde!
