I Love Wacoal Sorci Age!

Lingerie/underwear is my favorite kind of clothing but it’s also the second thing I hate shopping for the most (jeans being the first). Like jeans, it is so hard to find the perfect fit; and once you do find that pair that fits you like a glove… sorta, it’s only a matter of washes and wears before it stretches and well, no longer fits and flatters your body.

I am ashamed to admit that in the past, I have willingly sacrificed fit, comfort, and form for aesthetics. It might seem a little silly since they’re undergarments but pretty underwear is a must and wearing a cute pair never fails to make me feel lovely. I’ll buy anything that catches my eye— I love everything lacy or anything with ruffles but I also have a preference for classy floral patterns and playful ones like polka dots and animal prints. I only have one rule when it comes to underwear: no boring whites allowed. It reminds me too much of the very stark and practical training bras and 5-pack panties I used to wear when I was younger!

For reasons beyond me, I have never been loyal to a specific brand of lingerie… until recently, when I got my hands on my first pairs of lingerie from Wacoal’s Sorci Age line. Like your average 20something-year old, I grew up thinking Wacoal was a serious brand for moms and aunts— was I ever wrong! Sorci age is French for to be charming and charming describes the collection perfectly. The latest selection is aptly called Popstar and draws inspiration from music and art; the pieces are funky and trendy yet are still undeniably sweet and timeless.

It’s no secret that I can get pretty shameless about my body or rather, showing off/parading around the internet in my underwear (they make for nice photos!). Though I’m not a believer of “if you’ve got it, flaunt it!” (mostly because I have nothing extraordinary to flaunt), I believe in loving your body (something I am working hard on!), being confident in what you wear, and being pretty. I’d like to think that my personal style does not conform to the usual jeans-and-top combo that most people in my demographic don daily. I tend to throw caution to the wind and not give much thought to stares because what I’m wearing is not what people are accustomed to seeing.

My favorites from this season’s Sorci Age line are, of course, the pairs that I got: two variations of the Drummin’ Delia design.

I absolutely adore the classic and classy nude and black color combination of the pair on the left. It’s feminine, sweet, and every bit tasteful. It is subtlely seductive in its simplicity— something I try to aspire for.

Meanwhile, I like the edginess of the black and green pair on the right. A friend actually saw it lying around in my luggage and commented on how it “looked cool” and thought it was a turtle! I like how it’s different because truthfully, I don’t see many green bras out there.

It’s been ~1 month since I got my Sorci age underwear and I must say that they are the best pairs I’ve ever owned. They’re so pretty, comfortable, and they offer great support. The line may target women aged 18-25 but they’re definitely worth checking out, no matter your age.

Lastly, here’s a photo of one of my outfits where I intentionally let a bit of Drummin’ Delia (in nude) peek through my top! I love this look/love doing this because I think it adds a dash of sexy to any outfit.

We have few things in common: love for lace, floral/animal prints and lingerie (and thrift shops too! lol). I like the one on the right. Looks sexy. <3

I think Wacoal is the best when it comes to support and comfort. I’ve bought a bunch in Bangkok where they’re much cheaper haha. I have always loved Sorciage. Lagi akong tumitigil when I’m in SM. Such pretty stuff!

Wacoal works best for my 36C boobs, I started wearing the brand when I was 16 after I saw Oprah recommend them on her show. I’ll forever be loyal to Wacoal.

Teeyah, I didn’t know it was cheaper in BKK, I’ll make sure to hoard the next time I go there.

Where’d you buy the skirt? :3

WOW EVERYONE SHOULD INVEST IN A NICE PAIR OF BRA (well, girls). Nice, I think wacoal really gives that nice full breast effect on fitted clothes :)

@Len: I got it off ebay :3 It’s a pretend Zara skirt that I’m guessing was originally from Tutuban or something cos when I was there, I saw a store called “Muradito” and they had a lot of super nice clothes with Zara, Topman, Topshop, Mango tags.

I’m a first time visitor and I buy most of the lingerie for my wife (for some reason she thinks I have good taste). Really I’m just commenting because I like the photo of the day today. It seems really tranquil.

I love the nude bra, it’s still got a sexy feel to it although practical! Completely agree with you that jeans are the worst to buy for though, I rarely seem to find that perfect fit.
