Snapshots From Sagada, Part 3

Day 3 was also our last day in Sagada and as expected, none of us wanted to leave. We dreaded the long bus ride home and having to go back to hot and noisy Manila aka REALITY. But all good things must come to an end and we tried to squeeze in as much as we could in the few hours we had. The plan was to wake up early (6am, maybe) and try to make it to Kiltepan View Point.

That did not happen.

A small bookstore across Shamrock Cafe (where we had dinner Saturday night).

At Ohlabinan’s veranda. Freezing, obvs.

Mountain Province’s native coffee is DIVINE. We had breakfast/brunch at Kimchi Restaurant and chatted about car insurance rates and a bunch of unmentionable things.

After brunch, a few of us decided to take a walk and check out Sumaguing Cave’s entrance.

But we ended up at Lumiang Cave/burial grounds instead!

Coffins EVERYWHAR!!!!!!

Stopped by Lemon Pie House on the way back to our inn. We had to be in Bontoc by 3pm to catch the bus to Manila and we were told the last trip from Sagada to Bontoc was at 1pm.

Sagada

This is me feeling like a legit backpacker and moments before finding out that the last ride to Bontoc left a few minutes early AKA WE GOT LEFT BEHIND.

Sagada

We had to hire a van to take us to Bontoc! Expensive and not as fun since you can’t ride on top.

At Mount Polis, my favorite bus stopover in the world. This is the only complete ~*~group photo~*~ we have.
