I can wear heels again! I had to lay off them for the past three weeks because of my injured back but I tried on my super beat up (from constant use!) three-inch wedges yesterday and save for a few numbed ouchies here and there, I pretty much survived the whole day! Thank da lawd, because I was getting tired of having to wear flat womens sandals everyday!
So I took out my new lace-up (not gladiator, OKAY) heels from SM Parisian yesterday.

I love SM Parisian

80%20 Adair wedge boots.

In grey/black! I am seriously lusting for these hidden wedge hiking boots. My friend, Klassy, was in the country for a visit recently and just like we did the last time they were here, a bunch of us went over to their place on their last night (before heading back to San Francisco where she and her husband are based) to chat and watch them pack. Klassy has a ton of nice stuff and I couldn’t resist gushing over these.

She says they’re the perfect urban boots; she does a lot of walking in them and doesn’t have to deal with achy feet or blisters. NEED IN MY LIFE.

I made some changes to my blog.

NOTHING CRAZY, really. Just a fresh header, color scheme, and some minor tweaks to the sidebar. I’m still not done (I still have a few changes to make) but I decided to go ahead and launch it since my blog has been on maintenance mode for far too long now.
Fonts used are Bell MT, Men In Black Credits (header), and Nevis (post entry titles). My boyfriend HATES the deer antlers the letter R has but that’s because he hates animals and should be punished with twenty pet cats.
What do you think? Like it/hate it/don’t care about it?
Edit: Ugh, I hate the WP Sifr plugin that I’m using. It converts the text to Flash instead of an image. I might look into that and change it.
Edit x2: Switched to WP-Cufon!

Some time last year, Jannie kindly sent me a Magic Korean bun maker and I’ve been wanting to use it for the longest time but my hair simply isn’t long enough yet (I have serious envy for girls who can wear their hair in a bun on top of their head and adorned with a pretty, oversized bow). It has sat— untouched (save for that one time I took it out and read the instructions)— on top of my table in the Ziploc bag it came in until this morning when I decided to give it a try.
(Jannie also sent me a couple of rings. Thank you ♥♥♥)

LOLBun.
Sorry, Helga, no haircuts for you for the next two months…
