I got myself a box of “grape purple” (what it said on the box) dye to color the ends of my hair and replace the faded copper chunks.
Awkward smile!
I am not quite sure if I like it!
As usual, it’s splotchy and messy but I quite like it that way. I did a crap job at touching up my roots as the bleach seemed to be extra itchy and painful last night… which says a lot for me! The last time I bleached my hair in November, I was able to let it sit for 25-30 minutes without squirming. I barely lasted fifteen minutes this time around.
I’m a little unsatisfied with it because it doesn’t scream GRAPE PURPLE!!!!! at night and under the office lights. I’m writing this from my office desk and right now, it just looks like a dull black? Obviously, the purple is more obvious in daylight.
I am hoping they look purple in photos taken at night with flash.
This was supposed to be today’s outfit but I was unsure about the boots and socks so I changed into purple lace flats. I stood in front of my mirror for way too long trying to decide that I didn’t have time to snap another photo.
Should I color the top part copper? Or would copper (shiny red brown) + purple look a bit too lulzy? What do you think?

Grape Purple hair means darker colors for make-up, yeah? photo 5 really looks very grape-y.

I donat really know! I haven’t worn eyeshadow in a while and when I do, just browns for contouring. Plus I have orange parts pa naman lulz. Schizo hair.

Maybe something darker! IDK about copper, tho. And, it might be problematic pala cos the purple is dark already~* HMM. I second Len! ^^

Carina and Len seconded! Or third-ed. Or, if you still have grape dye left, dye a second time and see if the color comes out stronger. :)

O dat is gorgeous! I set out to bleach my hair with the intent of dyeing the ends pink (much like that photo you linked!) buttttt I can’t find hair toner locally. I need that to get the yellow/orange out =/ Or purple shampoo.

I really like the effect you made on your hair! Perfect! But if I look at it separately, bottom part really good and top part still a no-no. Hehe… But generally, it’s great on you besides you can carry it just fine. ;p
