I gave in and got rid of my gross roots over the weekend. I had been holding off dyeing/bleaching my hair because I am still hoping against hope (le dramatique, like, er tatoo removal) that the Special Effects hair dye I ordered off ebay over a month ago would get here. I’m still waiting (and hoping) but seeing last Friday’s photos and how ugly my roots were made me decide not to wait any longer.
The hair dye I used is a shade of copper from HBC mixed with 12% developer creme (or oxidizing creme, I don’t really recall). It’s not an even job as I mostly applied the dye to the top part/roots and combed through the ends.

I’ve barely paid any attention to my camera this week because I got an iPhone last Monday. Pathetic, I know, but I am simply obsessed with games/apps (which is really the reason I decided to get one). I’ve been playing Hotel Dash and Wedding Dash since I got it that whenever I close my eyes to sleep, I see Maricruz’s cartoon face waiting to be seated and Flo rushing about chain-bringing gifts to the bride and groom’s table.
This is a quick blog entry because I’m itching to get back to my game and to reading up on lipozene. I’m almost done with Wedding Dash!
What I wore last Monday aka the day I picked up my iPhone aka the day my productivity plummeted to negative eighteen:

It’s bikini season! I used to look forward to summer and hitting the beach/es but my Sagada trip last December had me thinking that I might be a mountain and cold weather kind of person after all. It’s getting warmer in the city (but it’s still pleasantly chilly and windy at night… how odd) and to be honest, I would love nothing more than to escape the heat by hieing off to Sagada. Unfortunately, I’ve been told it gets pretty crowded there over the summer so I guess I’ll have to wait until December.
But enough about Sagada. This summer, I have at least two beach trips lined up: one in April with Team Internet! and another in June with my college friends. I am dedicating the whole of March to getting in shape (guess who’s been spending time on coloncleanseresearch.com) and finding the cutest bikinis. The former is a must while the latter a little unnecessary seeing that I have a couple of newish swimsuits from House of Vanita. I have a handful of old bikinis that need replacing, though, so this justifies my acquiring more! Currently, I am adoring/coveting these styles:
Anthropologie Floral Rush Bikini.

I am lusting after high-waist bikinis and this is the cutest I’ve seen so far. The price tag? $98 for the top and another $98 for the bottom. To put it bluntly, $200 for a swimsuit is stupidity (Mle, 2011).

Transient Expression’s Tutorial Tuesday: Bow Back Blouse.
A Pair and A Spare’s DIY Weekly – Crystal Ring. I just need to know where I can buy ring bases! Anyone?
On Cut Out and Keep: Diy Miu Miu Sparrow Shoes. What I like about this is that you can basically stencil any pattern and use any color you want.
Love Aesthetics’s DIY Spine dress and her 15 Minute Romper.
Chic Steals’s Anni Albers Washer Ribbon Necklace. I love it <3 If I were to make this, though, I'd use a darker color for the ribbon because I live in a dirty dirty city; imagine how yucky that cream would be after a few wears!
Honestly WTF's DIY Braided Hex Nut Bracelet.
Petit Elefant’s How To: Pore Strips. Er, blackhead removal tool, I guess. Luckily, I don’t get blackheads so I never have to deal with this!
Studs and Pearls’s DIY: Sweatshirt Blazer. This could come in handy if you’re like me— not too keen on exposing her arms (forever conscious about my fat arms, what can I say) and is in need of light layers for the summer.

Last Sunday was good for the following reasons:
1) I wasn’t nursing a hangover.
2) I wasn’t stuck at home, nursing a hangover.
3) I didn’t have to stay at home, reading and writing about the lipozene scam.
4) I was out with friends but not working ourselves towards a hangover.
5) I was out with friends thrift shopping at the Bloggers’ Closet Sale (a garage sale organized by ten fashion bloggers).
