So I thought it would be a good idea to get myself a pair of circle lenses.

Can you say “reptilian”?
My irises are so small and dark (darkest brown… because irises don’t come in black?) that I can only describe them as “evil” and “beady”. I wanted to see how they would look in circle lenses and because I am very good at spending money, I bought a pair online (not very safe, I know). I won’t disclose where I got them from because I was very disappointed with how my order was handled*. These lenses are called “Alamode Brown.”
Evil and beady eyes (don’t mind my brows, I haven’t bleached them in 3 weeks):

Dead eyes:

Instagram-ed:

No, I don’t wear mascara. Yes, I know I should.
I don’t wear them everyday because 1) it takes half an hour and a lot of FML-ing to put them on; 2) I honestly think I look better without them (Like, my eyes don’t sparkle!!!~* with contacts); and 3) I don’t have time to experiment with makeup that will make my eyes look bigger. I have also managed to sleep without taking them off the second time I had them on. I think I deserve an award for that— “Best in Screwing Up So Quickly” or something.
Anyway, it appears that summer in the Philippines has come early; it’s been sweltering all week! I hate dressing for hot weather, it puts me in a bad mood and clothes become unbearable.
Today, I wore a onesie (peeing is always a challenge!) that Len kindly gave me ages ago. It’s a bit big on me and I need to have the shoulders and sleeves taken it, thus, the cardigan. I love how the floral pattern looks like a futon cover (loljk).

No photos of my face because my hair color is U G L Y.
*I had originally placed an order for Big DM23 lenses which the seller confirmed but ended up selling to someone else because I was late sending my payment (due to my back injury last month). It turned out to be a good thing because these Alamode Browns seem like a nicer pair but the seller was really horrible at communicating with me. I had sent a message (one that the seller did not reply to) prior to sending my money (which the seller did not confirm upon receipt) and had I not texted two days later to ask if my item had been shipped, they would not have gotten back to me.
Oh, and the seller had no clue who I was or what I had ordered.

I’m not sure about stores, but you can try Shades and Sights in Trinoma. My friend told me they have plano grade contacts, just not sure if they’re circle lenses!
I got mine for 700PHP!

You wore them dress! :) I should have had it altered when I gave it to you. But looks great on you though! It looks Kimono-ish.
Those eyes, those big round lenses which make the eyes big reminds me of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance and this show.. it’s a Korean make-over show and they make them girls freaky big rounded eye freaks.

Your eyes look gorgeous even without mascara – jealous! I love the ‘dead eyes’, and I’m also loving that cute summer dress.
