Pink and Gray

Just a quick blog entry/outfit post before I head out to Route 196 to catch the Sugarfree gig! I haven’t been in a blogging mood lately because I’ve been too pre-occupied with catching up on Jersey Shore (just one more episode before I’m up to date with the 3rd season!), CSI Miami (I am 36 episodes behind), and playing Sims 2 (I have two goals for my Sim, Luxie Lily— turn her into a witch and for her to have 50 children).

La dolce vita, huh? I imagine my productivity and socializing (I am notorious for playing apps and ignoring my friends and ducking out of conversations while out drinking) will plummet to negative eighteen once I get my iphone because I’ll be installing all these apps— Sims 3, included. Buh-bye, friends.

Yes, I’m looking a bit chunky these days. I’m hoping it’s just bloating and pre-dot water retention. It has to be.

Last Friday’s outfit. It was sweltering that day.

Gray cardigan from Betty’s (or something) at SM Department Store; the floral dress/tunic was a gift from Ysa <3; UO floral wayfarers; Janylin wedges.

That night, I decided to bring back the full bangs. I’m still undecided if I like it. When it gets all messy, I end up looking like a scraggly adolescent boy.

Thrifted Ray Cassin floral cardigan; thrifted floral tank top; thrifted gray skirt; those Janylin wedges again (I broke two pairs of wedges last week, is why).

Can I rant a little about my hair and the paranoia that comes with ordering anything online that has to go through Philippine customs??? I placed an order for some hair dye (four bottles that cost me $60+ including shipping) that shipped out of California 25 days ago. This isn’t my first time ordering from ebay.com; in October, I bought two jars of dye from a UK-based seller and it took less than two weeks before a notice showed up for me at work telling me I had a package to pick up at the post office. Until I get this package, I can’t do anything to my hair. Look at my roots! Look at that muddy, dull shade of… brown? Orange???

I’m shaking my prayer beads that all this worrying is for nothing and that my stuff gets here soon.

I love the bangs. Some people are so unfortunate they can’t afford having straight full bangs like those because they have a cowlick in the middle of their hairline they end up looking like wowie de guzman’s kimpee hairdo huhuhuhuhuh :((
