80%20 Adair Hidden Wedge Hiking Boot

I first blogged about 80%20’s Adair hiking boots last January after falling in love with my friend, Klassy’s, pair. I loved it so much that less than a week later, I had ordered my own pair from Karmaloop. To save on shipping, though, I had to wait for someone to arrive from the US to deliver my package.

Welp, I finally got them last Monday!

I know, I know: it’s summer and the weather’s too hot for boots. They were part of 80%20’s 2010 fall collection and I don’t really mind that they’re out of season; I’ll just save them for wearing later this year or when it isn’t too hot out (highly unlikely).

They are very, very comfortable. They feel more like flats than wedges which is kind of amazing and odd.

Meanwhile, my hair is still very red and very kyot. Nevermind that these photos were taken last Tuesday— the red has yet to fade!

I like the blue. I need some hiking boots!

Yeah, really, who cares if they’re out of season or whatever. I’m sure next Fall they’ll make a hiking boot that’s almost identical. I’ve been thinking about buying jackets for next Winter even though it’s like 80 degrees here right now. Love end of season sales. I see Karmaloop has already marked down items from the Mink Pink SS ’11 collection.. I want.

Does the dye require you bleach your hair first? Or will it stick even to hair dyed brown? :D
