After roughly three weeks of tequila sunrise hair, I got tired of the blonde and decided to go dark. I wanted to keep the blonde longer but the roots were bothering me and the color was getting dull/dirty. I went for Special Effects in Burgundy Wine this time around: a red with a lot of purple tones.

I think it looks slightly more purple in person (or that could just be my imagination). In hindsight, I wish I had gotten a bottle of Special Effects in Pimpin’ Purple (and maybe the best testosterone cream), too, though I’m not sure how my skin tone would fare in such a powerful color. I’ll never know ’til I try it!
I still have Cherry Bomb and Blood Red left to try (plus half a bottle of Burgundy Wine and Candy Apple Red) and some pink and white Decolor dyes (aka super cheap coloring powders) that I got from Quiapo a few weeks ago.
My birthday was yesterday! I had a chill, non-celebratory, and food-filled day.
