I had a fantastic Saturday, thanks to Nuffnang Philippines and the first Nuffamily Day. I’m a little iffy when it comes to out-of-town trips with strangers (but I jumped at this chance because:
a) I didn’t have anything planned (This is a lie, I was supposed to pick up my 50mm, heh)
b) I could bring friends
c) I haven’t been to Tagaytay in a while and
d) I love Nuffnang!
We arrived at Crosswinds around 4 or 5pm and set up our picnic mats at the resort’s helipad.
The weather was pleasant, though only slightly cooler than Manila’s. It made me dread going back to the city, imagining how how it was going to be.
Beautiful blue skies, fresh air, the greenery— it didn’t feel like we were in the Philippines at all! I guess that’s what happens when you’ve lived in the city for too long: you miss out on or forget how beautiful this country can be.
There were games but I decided to sit them out because I didn’t want to risk getting all sweaty and having my hair bleed on my white cardigan. Also: I am a sore loser. Tin and Charles joined the adult Hep Hep Hooray game but neither won *sad face*
THE MAGIC BEGAN WHEN THE SUN SET.
Lanterns! Like they did in Tangled!!! I love anything that lights up the sky (airplanes at night, fireworks, The Dark Mark etc etc) so I felt like a giddy little girl watching our paper lanterns ascend.
How luffly ♥
And because Nuffnang luffs me as much as I luff them, I got a free night’s stay at Crosswinds! It expires June next year so boyfriend needs to get his ass here or else I’d have no choice but to take my second boyfriend, Jimbo, and he’s just no fun.
Embarrassingly bad photo of the Nuffnang PH team (lol @ me for taking it from the sidelines, rly). I’m planning on buying an external flash this year; something I should have done a long time ago!
Thanks to Nuffnang ♥ and Nuffamily Day’s sponsors:
