The 100 Workout. If my body permits, tonight will be my fourth day of doing this. It’s a decent, quick, and convenient workout that supposedly burns ~200 calories. I can see myself getting bored of it, tho, so I’ll need to mix it up a bit, add some arm exercises, and maybe do half an hour of Pilates on top of it.
I find the leg lifts and the 10-minute run at the end to be the most brutal, though I am improving at the former. As for running, I find myself incorporating a few moves I’ve retained from Turbofire (double bobs/punches) to take the pressure off my calves and legs. I’m really not one for running, I HATE it.
(For crunches, I do 50 classic crunches and then side crunches for the remaining 80 reps.)
Mushrooms and potatoes. I didn’t think it was possible but I finally got sick of tofu so these two have currently taken its place. I like the little potatoes best and they’re tasty enough sans butter or any seasoning. I just boil them or boil them (to soften a bit) and then throw them in the pan with the mushrooms and lots of garlic.
JAMES MCAVOY. I cannot express how much I love this man. I saw X-Men: First Class last Friday (thanks to Nuffnang PH and Hapee!) and as expected, I swooned for him the entire time. I’ll definitely be watching Wanted and Penelope (♥) countless of times this month.
The rain. Despite the ugly local name (Typhoon Dodong), I am enjoying this
bad bed weather. I woke up around four this morning because I was freezing and needed a second blanket! I didn’t get it, though, as I was too sore and groggy to leave bed.
You know what would be amazing? To be at the beach while it’s raining. Or a lake (been looking at photos over at Table Rock lake real estate).
The downside to all this rain are its effects on homeless people and stray animals. A cat wouldn’t stop meowing last night and this morning and I wanted nothing more than to understand cat/meow and help it out. I couldn’t even find where kitty was, even though it sounded pretty near.
These shades of pink and blue. So pretty!
