Yet another iPhone app (it’s free!) that has sucked me in and brought my productivity down to -28.
If you have an iPhone or iPod and don’t have Tiny Tower yet… what are you waiting for?! I have not been this addicted since Game Dev Story, Hot Springs Story, and the Dashes (Diner, Wedding, etc). Hopefully, this will keep me occupied until Kairosoft releases their latest game, Grand Prix Story, for the iPhone.
Mexicali’s Garden Burger.
If my taste buds are correct, I believe the patty is made out of beans. I was always under the impression that all veggie burgers were the same and would taste disgusting, but I was wrong! This one was fantastic.
Lauren Conrad’s LA Candy trilogy. I finally got around to picking these up (and by picking up, I mean downloading the epub files which I may or may have not paid for) and while I honestly hated the first 100 pages of the first book, I have somehow found myself unable to put it down (except when I’m playing Tiny Tower).
I’m on book #3 (Sugar and Spice) and I’m hoping to be done with it by tonight (depends on my Tiny Tower schedule) so I can resume reading Jennifer Egan’s A Visit From The Goon Squad.
Etc, etc: Pixie cuts, messy hair, the sound of thunder, cutting down on sugar (it’s a pain, though), vortex binoculars, Death Cab For Cutie’s Codes and Keys (I didn’t care much for it when it came out but it finally— FINALLY— grew on me after a
handful of 8 [according to iTunes] listens), and MEETING A CORGI AKA MY DREAM DOG FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE. Our meeting only lasted three seconds (he jumped up and pawed at my thighs then turned away wtf) so I hope to see him again soon (and with my camera).
