Squeezing in a quick blog entry before I have to pack my stuff and leave the office. I wish I could say that reason for my staying this late (it’s past 8pm) was due to overtime but I’d be lying. I slept in this morning and didn’t get to my desk ’til a quarter before noon. Hey, at least I wasn’t late (and those old Hannah Montana episodes were totally worth staying up for).
♥♥♥ Things aren’t as hectic as they were two weeks ago but I still find myself strapped for time. I’ve been doing some extra work because I badly need the money (I’m hoping for a new laptop before the year ends, plus some rv repairs to worry about) and it pains me that I sometimes have to turn down projects that my boyfriend sends my way. I wish I had been more productive the last three years.
♥♥♥ I have no clue what to do with my hair but one thing’s for sure— those roots need fixin’! A hairdresser from the salon next to my apartment approached me two Fridays ago and asked if he could get me to be his hair model for an upcoming hair competition. I hope he’s serious because I am! I can’t touch/shave my hair ’til October, though.
♥♥♥ Sometimes, I miss having basic, girly hair. I’m talking about luscious, black locks that fall in waves past your chest here. And then I snap out of it.
♥♥♥ I am still on a no-processed sugar diet, although I did have some Coke Zero (or it could have been regular Coke and I was just too drunk too notice or care) with rum last Saturday. I feel great! I haven’t weighed myself or taken measurements but I can sort of see a difference in my body? It’s done wonders to how I feel about myself, too. I haven’t had a fat day in a while.
I still get crazy cravings, though. Last week, I wanted cotton candy. This weekend, I was dreaming of donuts and chocolate (I almost gave in, too). But I can walk past a Cinnabon now and not slobber on the glass casings and I can put down a candy bar and walk away from it while at the supermarket. I plan to make this last forever so I might have to allow myself a little bad sugar every now and then.
But my favorite thing about this
diet lifestyle change? I can eat all the rice (usually just 1-2x a day anyway) and meat I want, heh.
