A few Fridays ago, Len and I made our way to K Dental Studio at Medical Plaza to meet our new dentist. I am not fearful of dentists at all but I have trouble finding one whom I could have a good relationship with. Most of the dentists I’ve gone to in the past are pretty much impersonal and always say one thing to me: You should quit smoking. It’s embarrassing and I can’t help but feel like I’m being judged, heh. Fortunately, Doc Karla isn’t like that (though she did tell me to try quitting for two weeks just to give my gums and teeth a break! Fair enough, really).
She’s really pretty, too.

Len, Karla, Helga.

Doc (I feel so weird calling someone that!) telling Len and I about her philosophy when it comes to dental care. See, most people only visit the dentist when they need something done (prophylaxis, a filling, surgery etc etc); Doc explained to us that teeth should be cared for like one cares for their abs (or butt. Or glutes). She cutely calls her philosophy as The Tao of Tooth:
What is the Tao of tooth? It is the way for you and your teeth to reach the ultimate
nirvana of ipinlightenment. A personalized code of teachings, that through regular practice and on the advice and guidance of our guru of teeth, will open the way to ipin zen; healthy and happy teeth forever* (*until you move on to the next plane)To gain ipin zen one must forgo the desire of having a short term dental plan for a more long term and personalized dental care philosophy. Long term planning will make you be aware of your inner teeth and be more prepared to fight the black desires of tooth decay and gingivitis and all sorts worldly mouth evils.
Our mecca, K Dental studios provides you a relaxing environment to find your path to ipinlightenment as the beautiful and inspiring Dr. Karla Domingo plans and guides you to balance your life (and schedule) to devote yourself to the tao of tooth.

Filling up forms so Doc has an idea of our medical history.

Looking sheepish right before my personal consultation.

Hanging out at the studio’s recovery room.
As a smoker, I don’t take care of my teeth enough. Admittedly, I’m fine, as long as I don’t have bad breath and as long as my teeth aren’t yellow. Not exactly good. I found out that I need a filling, a good cleaning (long overdue lol), and I still need to have my wisdom teeth taken out!
You can set up an appointment with Doc Karla by calling 622-7113 or 0917-555-0641. Head to her Facebook page or website for more info!

Hi, I'm Helga Weber and welcome to my personal site. I'm 25 and in the process of learning how to make adventurous life choices. I dislike old people but I love grandma clothes. My goal in life is to build a ball pit right next to my bed. Currently searching for the perfect house coat. My lover is the greatest.
I need to schedule a dentist appointment badly.

Haha wow, you guys make the dentist’s office look like a fashion event or a nightclub or something.
I’ve never seen a hot couch like that in a dentist office. It looks really fun, with the hot pink pillows scattered about, looks totally different from typical dentist lobbys.
I also agree with McLuvin.
