New From Neutrogena: Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Line

New From Neutrogena

Neutrogena Deep Clean Blackhead Eliminating Line

Did you know that blackheads are the number two skin care concern among Filipinas? In high school, I was so fascinated with a classmate’s blackhead-infested nose that I would sneakily and creepily stare at it and wonder why I didn’t have those black dots on mine. I obviously did not know how fortunate I was… am. Luckily, I have never had to deal with those pesky little things (whiteheads and the occasional period pimples are another thing, though)!

Hanson Live in Manila and Cebu: Shout It Tour

Hanson Shout It Tour Manila and Cebu

I’ve been in such a frenzy since friends and I got word last week that Hanson was returning to Manila, and my bladder all but exploded when H.Net and Dayly Entertainment made the official announcement last Monday. It’s been seven years since their Manila concert and I honestly thought that that was it; that I’d never see them here again. This is incredible. This is fantastic. After March 31, 2012 (their Cebu show. They asked for two dates! Isn’t that amazing? And yes, my flight to Cebu has been booked!), I can welcome the apocalypse with open arms.

How to Vote for the NAPBAS

Hello hello, I didn’t think that I would actually need to make this post, considering the instructions are clearly written on the voting page but I’ve gotten several messages from people realizing they’ve been voting wrong all this time!

Anyway, here’s a super quick how-to that I posted on my Tumblr, too.

What To Wear To The NAPBAS?!

Helga Weber NAPBAS

Almost as exciting as the possibility of coming home a winner is figuring out what to wear to the Nuffnang Asia Pacific Blog Awards (NAPBAS). It’s a fancy formal event, I think (keywords: gala dinner) so I’m pretty much looking forward to picking out a super cutie dress to wear.

When it comes to clothes, I like them low-cut and shapeless; bonus points for glitter or sequins or a kitschy (you say ugly, I say kitschy) pattern, or if it’s something you would expect a grandmother or a woman in her cougar 50s would wear. The more colorful, the better! Skirts and dresses need to either fall way above my knees or cover my entire legs. For the NAPBAS, I decided to go short (I am more likely to re-wear a short dress than a maxi) and browsed around Polyvore for some ideas.
