Let me squeeze in a super quick review of the BB cream before I end this: if you read my previous entry, you’d know that a week ago, I attended St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Singapore. If there is one word to describe the weather that day, it would be BRUTAL. It was my first music festival and my first time at Fort Canning Park and you could say I was a bit unprepared for spending ~6 hours under the beating sun. To give you a somewhat clear picture of what we had to endure: at one point, I looked down and saw a patch of sweat on my top’s chest area; five minutes later, it was completely dry. I neglected to pack my sunblock for re-applying later in the day and I didn’t have sunnies nor a hat with me (we did have some yoga mats/regular mats to lie down on, though, so yay). Thankfully, I had worn a kaftan that proved to be perfect because the fabric was thin and it covered my arms.
Now I don’t really mind getting dark but I dislike how I don’t get all glowy and golden like, say, Carina. My skin turns kind of dull and grayish/dirty when I tan so I’d rather avoid it if I can. While I did get a bit of a tan that day, it seems to have faded just as quickly. It could have been the BB cream or it could have been just one of those “isang ligo lang ‘yan!” kind of tans. Who knows haha.
