Things I Love Thursdays: Inspiring Hair Colors

One of my favorite things to do is look at other people’s hair for inspiration. Here are some that I’ve been fawning over lately:

It’s obvious that I am painfully obsessed and addicted to bright/unnatural hair colors. I’ve had a handful of people telling me they think I look better with long, dark hair… and you know what? I agree! But life is short and it’s fun to stand out!

If you own any of the photos included, let me know and I’ll link/credit you! Girl #10

Been wanting to have those pastel streaks but I think it won’t fit my skin color. I loooove the rainbow fishtail!

“It’s obvious that I am painfully obsessed and addicted to bright/unnatural hair colors.” You and me both, sister.

Mannn, I want really vivid, unnaturally-colored hair. My blue hair faded like no man’s business and I’m now back to blonde hahaha

If you have any blue dye left, just keep topping it up! If it’s semi-permanent, you can add it to your conditioner :) I only shampoo once or twice a week and only use cold water on my hair to make color last longer.

How do you dye multiple colors without ruining them? I’m planning to dye my hair pink an blue soon! Just got the colors :)

    • Reply Helga June 29, 2012 at 12:00 am

Section them with clips and use a tinting brush :)

I did it! There’s a portion that got mixed though. Naging violet yung part na yun. :)

I have a question! Where do you buy Crazy Colour? There’s a shade that I want that Manic Panic doesn’t have eh. :S

        • Reply Helga July 4, 2012 at 6:33 pm

Eep! You could try doing them at different dye sessions and apply Vaseline or conditioner on the part you don’t want to dye.

I got my CC dyes from :)

I would really love to dye my hair an interesting colour but since I’m medium brown toned and the only photographs I find are of fair people, I have *no* idea what would suit me! Any recommendations?

I wish I had the guts to dye my hair a crazy colors too.

I’ve always wanted the platinum hair, but my hairstylist said that it’ll ruin my hair. :(

    • Reply Helga July 2, 2012 at 4:03 pm

Platinum hair is easy but it takes months, if you want your hair to stay healthy!

Hi Helga! I think the digital painting you used is my brother’s (10th photo). His deviantArt account is

I may be wrong though. Haha. Since the thumbnail is so small. Too be honest, my brother’s digital painting looks almost exactly like the original photo so IDK. =)) Sorry, noticed it just now. :P
