I am the worst eater I know.
Despite many attempts at correcting my eating habits, I find myself yoyo-ing between barely eating and pigging out. I’m either at a caloric deficit (forcing my body to go into starvation mode) or I’m gorging. Portion control is also an alien concept to me (despite having a kitchen scale that I bought years ago solely for this purpose lol) and I can easily consume 700 calories in one sitting. I can work out all I want (something I haven’t been able to do lately because my right ankle still hurts) but that will not fix a bad diet.
This doesn’t smell like liempo…
After learning that Tin lost 10 pounds since starting Diet Diva three weeks ago, I knew I had to at least give it a shot. See, when I got back from my recent Singapore trip, I gained a laughable 10 pounds (bringing me to 130). A little over a week later, I was back to 120. Beer, lack of exercise, and eating hotdog sandwiches in bed while watching Jersey Shore at 3 in the morning brought me up to my current weight of 126 (it’s kinda nutty how my weight fluctuates a lot but I don’t really pay attention to the scale. I’m all about inches and muscle). Something’s gotta change, especially since I can’t do cardio yet.
I started Diet Diva yesterday!
1200 calories in pictures:
Breakfast: Oatmeal and a banana
Afternoon Snack: Honey Graham crackers and tea
Note: I had the oatmeal and a hard-boiled egg (+74 cals) for breakfast because ya need some protein within an hour of waking up. Also: having an egg apparently aids in weight loss/reducing hunger cravings. I also had coffee with milk (+~80 cals) in between lunch and my afternoon snack (crackers and banana).
Lunch: Honey mustard chicken breast and red rice. Would ya believe this is only half of what I would normally eat?!
Dinner: Spicy tuna pasta. Delicious; could eat for the rest of my life. Would ya believe this serving of pasta is only A QUARTER of what I would normally eat?! I am a beast. This is why I am fat.
Nighttime snack: A hard-boiled egg and leftover pork-tofu adobo (small serving, OKAY). I ate my dinner at 830pm and I tend to go to bed really late so I need something that doesn’t require shame-walking to the Angel’s Burger at the corner at 3 in the morning.
I’m gonna be honest witchu: I am scared! I am not used to such small (or is this regular, for regular non-fatty people?) portions! I could have eaten all four meals just for breakfast, for realsies.
Days 2-5 and update on Saturday!
