This year, I plan to give the gift of The Little People. I would like to avoid big name brands as much as possible and source my gifts from small businesses (or, if I’m not lazy, make my own gifts!). I don’t need to name names but I think we can all agree that those big fancy brands are rich enough and can do without our money this holiday season! I sure hope you’re with me on this one.
With this, allow me to suggest a brand I am very fond of— Punchdrunk Panda! I wrote about them early this year when they released their last ladies’ skimmers collection. Recently, they launched a new collection of skimmers for both genders and camera straps (both for point and shoots and dSLRs).
PdP is a small Filipino company (I learned yesterday that they operate out of co-founder, Jen Horn‘s, home!) that showcases the work of local artists through the products they offer. The designs are fresh, funky, and ab-so-lute-ly cute!
I will talk more about the latest collection in my next PdP entry but for now, I’m giving away five free passes to the Global Pinoy Bazaar on November 10 at the Rockwell Tent. The GPB is an annual project of the Yabang Pinoy movement that aims to showcase Filipino entrepreneurs producing Filipino products with 100% Filipino Love and Pride.
To win the free passes, simply…
