A couple of Wednesdays ago, I made my way to the new Pino & Pipino branch (located at 38 Jupiter Street) to hang out with a few bloggers, the Punchdrunk Panda team, and some of the artists they collaborated with for their latest collection.

With Jonver

I’m a little amused because my hair is no longer pastel pink and Jonver’s is no longer black! I bleached and dyed his hair Blood Red last Friday.

All skimmers come with a postcard with a note from the artists and theirs was my favorite!

Manix Abrera and his camera strap, Shutterbug. He also designed a pair of men’s skimmers called Light Years!

Paul and his dSLR (not his design)… heh.

Alessandra Lanot and her Eat Your Vegetables camera strap. My favorite! (And currently in my PdP cart)

Alessandra is a super talented graphic designer and watercolorist and is also one of the folks behind Pino, Pipino, and Burger Project.

Seph, Shai, and Manix

I was joking that the Blogger Hangout was actually a press-con/Fans Day for Manix because everyone was getting stuff signed by him.

I was last to arrive at Pino (I BLAME DA HEAT) so I only got to take photos of two of the four appetizers served that day.

Punchdrunk Panda

Buffalo chicken skin. Not your usual pulutan! Crispy chicken skin coated with Pino’s special buffalo-style sauce, served with bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks

I love Pino’s creativity, transforming the very pedestrian balat-ng-manok into something so… sosy.

Punchdrunk Panda

Nori cheese sticks. The best! Buttermilk cheese rolled in nori and wonton wrappers, served with pesto and raspberry sauce.

It also seems that they made a few tweaks to the Nori cheese sticks because this is what they looked like the last time I had them!

The Jupiter branch houses Pino, Pipino (100% vegetarian restaurant), and The Burger Project. Pino and Pipino are open daily from 11am-2pm, and 5pm onwards. Burger Project is open daily from 11am til midnight. Interesting fact I learned that day: you can order Pipino dishes from Pino but not the other way around! Totally no animal products allowed in the Pipino part of the restaurant.

I shall be giving away Punchdrunk Panda GCs in a few days so keep an eye out for that. Hope you can join!
