10A Alabama Arts and Crafts Fair Mini Haul

The 10A Alabama Arts and Crafts Fair actually happened two weekends ago but I left my stuff in Sanya‘s car and didn’t get my stuff back ’til last Saturday!

Here’s what I got:

Lotus Bloom Handcrafted Soap in Isis (lavender). I could not resist trying out a bar since it was the second thing I smelled when we got to the house! The first thing, of course, was the homely scent of cheap burgers frying. Unfortunately, I couldn’t trace the scent back to its source (I was very very hungry). PHP150.

Aromateria Solid Perfume in Beach Bunny, which is sea spray + sugar… doesn’t the combo sound divine?! Aromateria solid perfumes are 70% organic, pthalate-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free! I find that the scent doesn’t last long on me (maybe a few hours) but it’s such a handy size that you can easily stick it in your purse and re-swipe later in the day. PHP250.

Sanya and I got matching ice cream rings. I also got a bunny ring from the same vendor which is lost somewhere in Sanya’s car or house. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the vendor’s name! PHP50.

Meow! plush pin by Femi. Femi also makes animal plush pins but she didn’t have any more cats when we got there. I’m also hoping she considers turning the statement pins into hair pins, too, because that would be super cute! PHP80.

Tote bag by Monsterella. Tote bags are my current favorite things and I just had to have it in this cheerful, summery pattern. PHP250.

There were soooo many cute things at the fair but I practiced control and held on to my money. These days, when I am tempted to buy something, I ask myself first “Do I want it because I really want it or because it’ll look cute on the internetz?”

The tote is so cute! I hated chevron when it came back into fashion but now I’m LOVING it.

The Meow pin is cute too!

“Do I want it because I really want it or because it’ll look cute on the internetz?” – I’ll keep this quote in mind whenever shopping.

LMAO @ the last sentence in the post. I definitely think that every time I go shopping. I started thinking about that when I was living in South Korea. There were so many cute things, but they were things I knew I had no use for and were going to go to waste. But they were cute, nonetheless. It was hard having self-control while over there.
