Food Diary: What I Ate Wednesdays // 5

I have strayed BIG TIME from my diet. As frustrating as it is to be unable to stare down at a cup of rice and say “NO!”, is anyone really surprised? I know I’m not. BUT I WILL STILL TRY.

Yesterday, I went with Sanya to Cartimar to watch her spend money on pet supplies. The plan was to head to Pasay at 11am and that’s about the time I woke up (oops). If it weren’t for the heat, I would have gone back to sleep but rolled out of bed, I did; jumped in the shower, I did; skipped brunch, I did.

Sanya wanted to try this Thai noodle stall at what I assume is the Cartimar food court but I wasn’t really in the mood to play Russian roulette with Hepatitis so we headed to Arisoo Korean & Japanese Eatery. For some reason, their cutlery sleeves say Masan Garden Restaurant.

What I Ate Wednesdays

Here are yesterday’s meals!

Super mega late lunch:

What I Ate Wednesdays

Kimchi bokumbap (fried rice). I should have ordered an extra egg because EGG.

What I Ate Wednesdays

Dumpling egg roll— dumplings literally rolled in an egg. I wanna make out with the genius who came up with this idea.

What I Ate Wednesdays

Cheese toppoki. 10/10 would eat again. I just wish they weren’t made of rice cakes!!!

Dessert:

What I Ate Wednesdays

Banana-flavored Melona. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET BELL PEPPER MELONA??? THANKS.

Snackin quackin:

What I Ate Wednesdays

Went to Tiong Hwa a few doors down for some chilled white taho…

…which I saved until we got to Fancy Crepes so I could have it with my iced latte (no sugar). The taho syrup was hardly sweet which was great because I don’t want diabeetus.

Dinner:

What I Ate Wednesdays

My dad’s pork knuckle bean soup. I went easy on the beans because I already felt weighed down by all the carbs I had throughout the day.
