I’m back to dieting! I’m doing it primarily because I’ve been feeling like shit and I’m tired of it. A bit of weight loss would be a great side effect, though!
(Let’s pretend that bag of Cheetos I wolfed down while writing this entry never happened.)
Because I never have time to meal plan and prepare food in the mornings, I’m doing the rounds of diet delivery services. For week 1, I turned to an old favorite: Diet Diva!
This was last week’s Diet Diva menu (PHP 1800-2000 a week, depending on your location):
The deli meat and cheese from Thursday are not part of Diet Diva (I can only wish!!!). One of our bosses came back from France last week and prepared a small spread for us. Who am I to deny myself such culinary treats?!
I also forgot to include the other snacks included in Diet Diva’s program, like Monday’s banana and Tuesday’s and Thursday’s crackers.
To be honest, it was more of Daya Diva for me because I didn’t stick to the meal plan. I started the week intending to still hit 1500 calories (anything less will slow down my metabolism) by snacking on healthy stuff (bananas, hard-boiled eggs, carrots). My social and coupled life were against me, though! Like, Monday night had me eating two slices of pizza because I was at the ER ’til 1am (Joey needed x-rays) and I got hungry while waiting for his results. It only went downhill from there.
I forgot to put in a new order for so I’ll probably be eating a bit worse the next 5 days. Hopefully, I’ll be back on track next next week!
