White Oleander by Janet Fitch. I stopped at the part where an angry and drunken Starr shoots Astrid so I could watch the movie to know how it ends (oops).
I should be writing a script that’s due on Tuesday but needs to be done tomorrow so my art director can work on the storyboard. Instead, I’m watching The Last Man on Earth.
To the whirr of the fan and Freakie’s bell.
About how weird it is that the more you get to know someone, the less you like them. I guess this is me projecting my insecurities but this is why I always keep people at arm’s length.
Some people really aren’t that great and it’s a little disappointing when you realize that.
A Magnolia Lily scented candle. My birthday is next month and I would love to get a bunch of scented candles and oils.
April treats all of us well.
I stay disciplined and stay away from the following for the next two weeks: beer, chips, processed sugars, fast food, and carbs after 6PM.
A blue nightdress I’ve had for 11 years.
Weekends with Joey, my new dSLR (still nameless!), and Metro Manila during the Easter holidays. It only took twenty minutes to get from Joey’s place in Greenmeadows to my house in Valley Golf!
A hot body without changing my fat lifestyle.
Also— more cash, more long weekends, more time to watch TV in bed, more baby plants.
To catch up on blog things, mostly reply and return comments. I try and make it a point to spend at least thirty minutes to an hour each day reading blogs and leaving meaningful comments but weekends always throw me off. I’ll visit your blogs soon, I promise.
A little restless. I was mildly jealous of everyone who headed out of town for the 5-day weekend but I’m really okay with staying put in an almost empty city. I’ll be heading to the beach later this month anyway!
