My college friend, Katia, offered to send me some Manic Panic a few months ago and even though I was pretty set on going back to natural shades, I pounced on the chance to try Enchanted Forest. I’ve pretty much written off green dye after that one time I painted a chunk of my hair Crazy Color Pine Green but I still wanted to give it one last shot.
My hair looks like the ocean. :)
THE GOOD: Manic Panic Enchanted Forest is a beautiful jewel-toned green.
THE BAD: Photos fail to capture its true color, making it look teal instead. Seriously, it’s gorgeous in person. This is the closest, but it’s still not accurate.
Adore African Violet changes colors, too, depending on the light: sometimes it’s dark violet, sometimes it’s blue. I chose to use it on the top half of my head so it’ll fade to a silvery blurple.

(WHERE IS THE BEAUTIFUL EMERALD GREEN!!!)
I think this is my favorite hair color on me so far! I also like how I don’t have to bleach my roots because black re-growth doesn’t look so horrid with dark hair. It’s been 3.5 months since I last touched bleach and I’m trying to go at least another month without chemically processing my hair.
Will I ever achieve gray, granny hair? I’m giving it another try some time this year before I go back to natural colors.
