Klassy is one of my oldest and bestest friends (I am terribly bad at maintaining friendships) and I am so glad to have been one of her bridesmaids. I just love this girl to bits.

For our bridesmaid dresses, Klassy was totally chill about the whole thing. She just told us “peach but more orange than pink” and left it up to us to pick our style, fabric etc. I am very grateful for that because that I now have a dress that suits my body (I would be super horrified if say, she wanted us to be in strapless dresses) and can wear again.

Dress: custom. Tights: We Love Colors. Shoes: Carmelettes.

Is there anything more quaint and youthful than an afternoon picnic? I think not! Picnics make for good, wholesome fun and it’s a shame my friends and I don’t have picnics more often. I mean, the last time I went to one was in 2008 (when I still had dark, curly hair and still wore flipflops in the city eep).

Sam, Sanya, and I took advantage of the long weekend and organized a little picnic on Monday. Originally, we were supposed to have it at Parks and Wildlife just outside Diliman but it was a bit too rundown and crowded with children so we ended up at the UP Sunken Garden.

Sam’s text message read: Sanya said picnic-wear! I have no idea what that means. Floral, frilly dresses? Oversized hats?

SM Accessories headband, thrifted white lace dress, thrifted high-waist yellow shorts (my favorite shorts ever), Shoe Room flats, Accessorize bag.

I needed something quick for Casa Nami’s Halloween Sing-ALong Party last Monday*; one that did not require sewing, a baby jogger city versa, body paint, or spending more than 100 pesos. I’ve always wanted to go as a Sim so I figured I could do some origami and make a plumbob.

* I don’t sing… ever. Unless drunk and surrounded by people who will not judge me for my terrible singing voice. I usually go to these things because it’s fun to sing along… from the audience.

The good thing about having a blog is that you don’t have to rack your brain to remember what exactly you were doing a year ago. This time last year, I was getting ready to model lingerie for House of Vanita, still had dark hair, was dedicated to working on my fitness, and had no clue what I wanted for myself, career-wise (rather— I never gave it much thought).

I can’t believe it’s been a year and it’s alarming how time flies once the -ber months hit; 2011 is almost over!

I haven’t been posting outfit-y photos lately for several reasons:
-my clothes bore me
-I’ve been lazy (too lazy to make an effort, too lazy to take photos, etc etc)
-my 50mm lens broke again. This actually happened in Singapore because I was careless with it. Being able to walk around with your dSLR in full view and not worry about getting mugged is such a nice feeling. I had my camera slung around my right shoulder while walking and shopping and probably banged it around shelves etc a few times =/
-my camera remote’s battery is dead (I got a fresh one this afternoon)
-I’m out of clothes

Nine. That’s like one new look per month. Thankfully, this latest “new look” is just a little trim, giving my hair some breathing room in between bleach and dye jobs. To be honest, I almost dyed my hair Blood Red on Sunday; I found out that afternoon that this year’s UAAP cheer dance champs— the UP Pep Squad— all bleached their hair blonde for the competition. I thought I was just imagining getting more looks/glances than usual while standing along Katipunan!

Anyway, I didn’t have time to go Blood Red and I decided to try to keep the blonde until October for my Halloween costume. I did get about three inches chopped off and had a much needed hot oil (it didn’t do much, considering how fried my hair is). I think I need to get the ends thinned a bit with a razor since it tends to get poofy as the day progresses.

Look at this little guy! He’s one of our Panda’s puppies and my dad brought him over this morning for a visit and to possibly keep at the apartment. We decided on the latter, so now I have to get him a leash and a collar. Does anyone know where I can find glittery collars?!

His name is Cow because, well, he looks like a cow. I shall be calling him Cowdude, Cowbaby, Cowbell, etc etc.
