I first blogged about 80%20′s Adair hiking boots last January after falling in love with my friend, Klassy’s, pair. I loved it so much that less than a week later, I had ordered my own pair from Karmaloop. To save on shipping, though, I had to wait for someone to arrive from the US to deliver my package.
Welp, I finally got them last Monday!

Hello, hello, I have not been in the mood to blog, tumble, tweet, or facebook lately (yes, websites can be verbs, too, okay) but I need to tell you about adapexin-p! I’ve been most content just tapping away at my iPhone, making Flo serve diners or Sara reach her daily delivery goals or making sure my hot springs inn (called Kitty Grande) ranks first in eight hot springs magazines.
It’s a little pathetic.

Summer is slowly creeping up on us and I must have been nuts to wear this thickish sweater during the day (when it can get unbearably warm/humid) but the weather was mostly cooperative last Tuesday. Unfortunately, it took a turn for the worse and started pouring rain come nighttime. It wouldn’t have been so bad but it was also the night of Sugarfree’s last gig.
How very appropriate and dramatic, Mother Nature.

I gave in and got rid of my gross roots over the weekend. I had been holding off dyeing/bleaching my hair because I am still hoping against hope (le dramatique, like, er tatoo removal) that the Special Effects hair dye I ordered off ebay over a month ago would get here. I’m still waiting (and hoping) but seeing last Friday’s photos and how ugly my roots were made me decide not to wait any longer.
The hair dye I used is a shade of copper from HBC mixed with 12% developer creme (or oxidizing creme, I don’t really recall). It’s not an even job as I mostly applied the dye to the top part/roots and combed through the ends.
