Current Distraction: Pottermore!

I finally got my Pottermore welcome email last Monday. Silly me totally missed it in my inbox which was just as well, seeing that Monday was the only time out of my 4-day weekend that I got any work done (I’m a pro at slacking, you see, and researching about the liquid image summit series is just too interesting). I’ve had some time to explore the site and I am in love with it! The art is perfection and I feel like a kitty in a room full of moving squeaky toys. I’m in a frenzy! There is so much to do!

I am very unhappy with the Sorting Hat, though.

Chic Steals’s Anni Albers Washer Ribbon Necklace. I love it <3 If I were to make this, though, I'd use a darker color for the ribbon because I live in a dirty dirty city; imagine how yucky that cream would be after a few wears!

Honestly WTF's DIY Braided Hex Nut Bracelet.

Petit Elefant’s How To: Pore Strips. Er, blackhead removal tool, I guess. Luckily, I don’t get blackheads so I never have to deal with this!

Studs and Pearls’s DIY: Sweatshirt Blazer. This could come in handy if you’re like me— not too keen on exposing her arms (forever conscious about my fat arms, what can I say) and is in need of light layers for the summer.

1) I wasn’t nursing a hangover.
2) I wasn’t stuck at home, nursing a hangover.
3) I didn’t have to stay at home, reading and writing about the lipozene scam.
4) I was out with friends but not working ourselves towards a hangover.
5) I was out with friends thrift shopping at the Bloggers’ Closet Sale (a garage sale organized by ten fashion bloggers).

Now gamers have access to a wide variety of amazing video games ranging from the comfort of their own home. Todayâ€™s video games have become much more intense, visually stunning and far more interactive, with more features and more buttons to push. Games are now also now required to have ratings, like a film, as many are extremely violent and not suited for kids. Hereâ€™s a quick look at some of todayâ€™s most popular video games that are as fun and addicting as playing video slots.

Weekends like the one coming up makes me wish I lived in the US just so I could take advantage of all the Black Friday deals! I especially need a new laptop, seeing that my beloved Veronica Mars (my Sony Vaio… and yes, I name my things, heh) is over four-years old.
