Malaysia Day 3: Kuala Lumpur and Putra Mosque

Talk about SUPER LATE! I have been so caught up on other things that I haven’t had the time to focus on this blog. Blogging isn’t even on today’s agenda but I’m taking a quick break from work to go through my drafts. I don’t even deserve a break considering I’ve mainly been faffing around online instead of ticking off stuff on today’s to-do list. I’m feeling very irresponsible going off-course because I told myself I will really focus on important, money-making activities this year. I wanna be rich enough to afford, IDK, gold bars at Golden Eagle! Heh. Instead, I’ve been going through lulzy stuff over at SF_Drama.

Anyway, here’s my long overdue post about our third day in Malaysia last December. You can read about Day 1 here and Day 2 here.

I woke up on Sunday to this mess:

Kaith sleeping.

All those clothes? Mine. I become really messy and disorganized when I’m strapped for time. Unsurprisingly, my apartment couch kind of looks like that right now.

Malaysia Day 2: Kuala Lumpur City Tour and Cocktails at The View

I can’t believe it’s been almost a month since the NAPBAS! The photos I took from my trip are still sitting in my iPhoto, silently chanting “We want to be on Facebook! We want to be on Facebook!” Some time this year, I promise!

For our second day, we were to be treated to a mini guided tour of Kuala Lumpur. Kaith and I were up bright and early for the breakfast buffet.

Porking up for a long day ahead.

Malaysia Day 1: Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards

NAPBAS 2011

As everyone knows, I (with 30+ other bloggers from the Philippines) traveled to Malaysia last December 16 for the bi-annual Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards (aka the NAPBAS). I was a finalist for Most Original Blog Design and I sadly did not come home with a glass trophy and a new Olympus camera. That’s okay, though! I mean, the only thing worse than being a loser is being a sore loser and I honestly have nothing to pout about because the Nuffnang folks made sure we had one hell of a trip! Plus, being a finalist was/is already an honor, when you consider the selection process that went into it (hindi lang basta-basta!).

Food Diary: Singapore

Singapore

First meal of the trip: some sausage bacon supreme muffin thing from McDonald’s. Very exciting, I know. Our flight got in past 2am and the Swenson’s and Toastbox at Changi International Airport didn’t have the food we wanted so it’s not like we had much of a choice!
